.Everett in his universe had been quite the mistreated human to say the least, as many Gods observing his life would put it.When he was merely a boy, he was talked down to and mistreated and abused (verbally + physically) by his mother, and as a child he took all of the pain, seemingly where it all had begun but despite this Everett didn't see it this way, he believed no matter what that he was misbehaving in some shape or form, he said something that irritated her. He was the problem... and so as he began to grow up, upon receiving the idea from his kindergarten teacher, he asked for help as to how to make amends to his mother get her to love him again, however with the more he did the more it seemed to anger her until one day, she snapped.After beating him quite violently, with him bleeding and having many bruises Everett was in her room, crying after another usual night of her disciplining him, after her finding out about the conversation with him and his teacher. She was furious that she had learned Everett had spilled even small details about what went on at home, and thus he HAD to pay for it.It was all about sending a message; and after this she wasn't done. Shortly after hanging up a call with the teacher, she grabbed the beaten Everett, by his hair pulling him towards an hot kitchen stove. The way his mother had seen it; he went too far, and the message had to stick like nothing else and she was correct.Blood curling screams could be heard as the young child's face was pressed forcefully; with him being so small and little he was so helpless to free himself, forced to endure so much pain that left horrible scars for the rest of his life. He was held down on it for several minutes, with him crying and screaming the entire time whilst his mother screamed at him, and soon enough terrified neighbors had called the police upon hearing his screams and loud noises from their home and that night, his mother was shot by police, after her refusal to surrender and Everett fainted from the pain, his face being horribly burned and disfigured. The entire time of him being in the hospital through the physical pain was bad, the mental pain would forever mess up his mind, forever. He spent several days in the hospital just crying feeling like an absolute failure.What was his life now...? Did he really anger his mother this badly? This was all his fault, he wished he didn't do what he had done that day. He has come to regret it as he has continued to grow up.Despite the attempts from the Doctors they couldn't save the eye, and with surgery the eye was removed and his horrifically scared face needed to always be wrapped in bandages, in order to walk about and at least look somewhat normal and even then the torment didn't stop with the death of his mother... he felt that blood was all on his hands, for being an pain for his mother, he cried many nights when his guardians that were responsible for him confirmed this.The pain, was very great. It caused him to be very closed off from others, hardly ever interacting with others as the interaction would go one way. With them alienating and just treating him as if he was freak.However despite having all reasons to lash out at the world, and to give up on living, HE DIDN'T.The easy answer as to why he tackles the Dark Aether as he does now, is simply; it is the right thing to do, as Agent Maxis herself puts it.However Everett is simply a good soul at heart, and maybe he doesn't realize it, as he was overwhelmed with so much gulit.Fast forward now, into adult hood. Everett had a mostly normal time in his late teens to early adult hood, quite an lonely time however he was able to find the first thing to love him and appreciate him for existing; Rabbits.Being an Orphan at the home he stayed at he was allowed to watch over and feed groups of rabbits, allowing him to have a taste of what happiness and love was.However like all good things, it could never last. He had to leave them behind upon him leaving the Orphanage, and never being adopted by any family...He was heartbroken; and after the day of him getting his own apartment he broke down and sobbed, just being unable to hold in his emotions any longer. The entire day he looked terrible and he just wanted to cry. Even tears came down from his eye.In adulthood, he became an Deputy where he received his firearm training and served with many fellow officers. His skills were picked up on by the C.I.A and which case he was a new recruit and his first mission was to investigate an older abandoned World War II Swamp, Shi No Numa.Also know as the Swamp Of Death, Everett was in for a surprise as it would be the first instance of him fighting the Undead Hordes, with no help all on his own.After sending an distress call, he was soon rescued by his fellow people within the C.I.A taking note of his skills, Everett would be made one of the first Members of Requiem's Strike Team, and fighting against the Dark Aether was an Monday for him, with many losses on the field.His toughest mission was stopping the Forsaken from consuming the world, all the while wanting to lay down his life to see it to the end.Thanks to Agent Maxis, he succeeded however just as the fighting was going on, he was teleported into the Dark Aether right as he was to be killed, only to remain trapped in the place below creation...Being unsure of time, he arrives finally back into the normal world only to find out Requiem was dissolved, and his former commanders now being dead and Ravenov being the last one standing. This... wasn't how it was supposed to go down.Still wanting to end this once and for all, Everett joined Operation Deadbolt and wished to put of stop to the war, once and for all, if not that hopefully die trying.He knows deep down he would likely never experience many things, such as family, having friends, having people that care for him, or even having an partner however it's all okay in the end for him.He just wishes to prove to his mother, even from beyond the grave that he is sorry. And still is, and despite all of it... he just wants his mother to love him again... perhaps in this afterlife, if there was one. An Eternal rest a trade for endless suffering.This was the only way.
